"Stayed here for our first night in Namibia.

Not much to do or see in the vicinity but hotel was pleasant and the staff were very helpful."

"Beautiful rooms with the option to sleep out on the roof to star gaze, which we did during our stay.

All the staff were very welcoming and the food was great.

We took part in the trip to the desert in the morning and a more general drive in the afternoon. Both were with the same guide, who was very knowledgable, and same group of other guests which made it feel very sociable.

Would definitely recommend."

"Nice modern hotel to use as a base in Swakopmund.

Room was very pleasant and we had a lovely view over the sea.

"Lovely rooms with an absolutely stunning view. Staff were very helpful and food was lovely.

We went on a trip to find the desert elephants which was one of the highlights of our trip.

Was probably the most crowded trip of our holiday in terms of the number of cars round the elephants but the herd was large and didn’t effect our enjoyment of the activity."

"Good rooms with a nice view out over the reserve. Could view a waterhole through binoculars from the balcony.

Went out on 3 drives over a day and a half with a very knowledgable guide. Saw alot of general game, a couple of black rhino but the highlight was a group of 7 lions which we were able to follow for a while.

Because you are on a private reserve with a guide driving, you could leave the road and get closer to the wildlife than at Etosha."

"This lodge was probably the one disappointment in our stay in Namibia.

The room was very tired, food was not great and the staff seemed apathetic. Location in the park was useful and there was many watering holes to visit with the freedom to drive ourselves.

However you are limited to the roads so it is largely down to luck at what is nearby.

None of the wildlife experiences we had here ranked amongst the top of our trip"

"We were upgraded from the Plains Camp to the Bush Camp, which was amazing. Room, food and staff were all great.

We did 2 activities; the leopard drive and the rhino tracking both of which were successful and got us surprisingly close to the animals. The rhino tracking in particular was one of the highlights of our trip.

Wish we had stayed 2 nights rather than 1 as we had to pack in the activities and didn’t have time to enjoy the actual camp as much as we could have."
