We understand that the windows were left open to cool the room, allowing the wind – which can pick up in the summer afternoons – to carry in sand and dust. We've flagged this to the lodge team, to try to avoid this in the future.

The shared areas and surrounding grounds can feel busy at times with day visitors exploring the Winelands. Babylonstoren offers several exclusive experiences for overnight guests including guided tours, fishing, cycling, and other curated farm activities, and it’s great to know that these travellers found those tours to be outstanding. Babylonstoren advised that there had been an issue with their pool pump at the time of this stay, which they swiftly had fixed before cleaning the pool. Babylonstoren assure us they remain committed to delivering a high standard of service and hospitality.
