Going to the crater was a dream come true. The stunning scenery and animal life was incredible.

The road conditions are poor (helps keep speed down) and when there's a sighting of a lion, for example, hundreds of jeeps descend upon it, unless you get there early.

"Lemala is in an ideal location only 15 minutes from the crater floor. This allows you to start your safari a couple of hours before the masses arrive. The people at Lemala are very friendly and the food delicious.

Only complaint would be the room temperatures. I saw my breath in the morning and after you take a shower you'll be freezing.

There is a heater in the room, but it's only turned on for two hours each night."

Really enjoyed this walk.

Guides were friendly and informative and it was nice to stretch our legs after a long flight. You'll see lots of bird life and flora.

Our guide was Maasai and we learned about their culture!

This was our first time in a balloon and the entire experience was fantastic: from the takeoff to the perfectly soft landing, to the champaign celebration and breakfast after.
