Great holiday in Namibia
Namibia between 23 Jul 2022 and 10 Aug 2022
Sabina's recommendations of alternative accommodation when original choices were not available were excellent.
We did experience a puncture on our hire car, which fortunately happened not far from Otjiwarongo where we discovered a Dunlop tyre depot. The manager contacted the rental company on our behalf and sorted out the issue for us.
Overall the amount of wildlife seen was extremely numerous and observed throughout the country.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
None.
The service we received from Sabina was excellent. Knowing she was at the end of a phone line or e-mail if we had any queries gave us us reassurance throughout our trip."

A very enjoyable trip with good food and wine for lunch.
Bahnhof Hotel (Not currently featured by Expert Africa)
"Comfortable room with extras!"
The addition of hot water bottles in the beds was very welcome as it was chilly at night and only very limited heating in the room."

Canyon Lodge
"Great views at Canyon Lodge "
The views were amazing from our room which was at an elevated position on the edge of the property (a number of other chalets did not have such a view.) The main building was in extremely colourful grounds.
The buffet style evening meal was delicious with plenty of choice."
Teufelskrallen Lodge (Not currently featured by Expert Africa)
"Wonderful View but cold at night"
The food was excellent quality from a highly skilled chef and her team.
The Manager and staff went out of their way to assist my wife securing a mobile phone, following the theft of her own at the start of our holiday. Lovely people.
The sundowner safari by John (the guide) was one of the best we have ever experienced."

"What an amazing room and view"
We regularly looked out on Hippos and Nile crocodiles just yards away.
The food (buffet) was excellent with a wonderful variety."

Waterberg Plateau Lodge
"Lovely views and comfortable room."
The views were stunning and we had beautiful birds visiting our plunge pool on a regular basis.
The young chef cooked exceptionally delicious food for our evening meal (taking into account my wife doesn't eat game)."
Okaukuejo Camp
"Comfortable accommodation, great waterhole."
The waterhole was a short walk away and we were overwhelmed with the gathering of a large herd of 31 elephants silhouetted against the sunset, never to be forgotten.
The restaurant was chaotic having diners all turning up at once, unaware that they should have booked a table for a time slot, which was not explained at check in or in any literature. Service very slow and food cold. There seemed to be no organisation/ person in charge!"
Mushara Outpost
"Spoilt rotten at Mushara"
Room spacious and well equipped with inside and outside shower.
Food was varied and tasty.
The staff made a fuss of my wife on her birthday decorating our breakfast and evening meal table, which was a lovely gesture. They made a cake and serenaded her with songs of celebration, which was a lovely touch. They all had incredible voices and they seemed to enjoy doing it!"
Ai Aiba Lodge
"Stunning location at Ai Aiba"
The staff were very accommodating in assisting us with the on-line check in for our flight home."
They went above and beyond dealing with an unrelated issue on behalf of my wife, who was exceedingly grateful. We also found the food exceptional and the accommodation spacious and extremely comfortable.
It was a stunning setting with amazing sunrises and sunsets."
