A great morning at Walvis bay. Very good kit provided with a great guide. A mix of doing your own thing and getting information. Seals playing all around the kayak. We only wished we could have been out longer. The sandwiches and coffee on the beach were most welcome after the mornings exertions. Top Tip - If possible get single kayaks, in the doubles the person at the back can have a restricted view especially when the dolphins are playing in front of the kayak.

This is a truly epic landscape that Hollywood couldn't do justice to. The outstanding simple beauty of the dunes as they role down to the sea is a sight we will always remember. The guide had limitless knowledge about the area, it's eco structure and history. Top tip - If you only do one trip in Namibia this is the one.

"A great place to use to get over the flight before setting out to explore Namibia.
All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with nice breakfasts brought to your room. Need a taxi or a reservation "No problem" Alan is happy to help.
Good location for Joe's Beer House or Luigi and the Fish, both 5 mins in a taxi. A supermarket is not far away for most things, even adapters for the sockets."

Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch
"Kalahari with Meercats"

"This is a straightforward drive from Windhoek. Watch out for the ranch's drive it is very sandy and we nearly got stuck but it is the Kalahari after all.
Look out for the Meercats, they are great fun and if you take the time to sit still they will come right up to you.
Very good sun downer trip with great night skies. Equally take a bottle of wine up to the dune deck and watch the sun set from the edge of the camp."

"Staying at Zebra River is like staying with your best friends. You can do as much or as little as you like, with Rob, Marianne and the staff on hand to help.
Great walks (Quiver tree, easy 3hr walk), Great views, Great home cooking and Rob's sun downer is a must."

"Wonderful views from the rooms and lodge. A great place to relax.
This is more than just a camp, Thomas and his staff are very friendly and ready to please at all times. The trip to Sossusvlei dunes was spectacular and well worth the 5.30 start. The lodge guide knew the best way to miss the overlanders and keep the dunes intimate. While it can be hard work climbing the dunes at times, it is truly the best way to enter Dead Vlei.
Top tip - Get Thomas to bring a bottle of fizz to your room to watch the sun set from your deck."
