"It was a trip of a lifetime. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and have great memories.
It was a long time coming as we booked pre-Covid and wondered if we would ever get there.
Expert Africa was instrumental in delivering this from the moment we contacted them to the fantastic planning mainly from Megan. She kept us up to date during Covid to when things were eventually opening up. Everything ran smoothly with no problems, especially flights and transfers.
I cannot thank them enough and would definitely recommend.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
Unsure how you can improve on excellence."

"A beautiful lodge, very luxurious. Had requested a room with a view to the watering hole which was great treat.
Staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. The bar area was great, there were many places you could sit & relax and all insight of the watering hole. The restaurant food was tasty and had a great selection. Swimming pool area very inviting.
We used the lodge staff to book some activities for us which included a tour of the Falls, the traditional African evening which included food, music and dancing. One of activities we book, The Gorge Swing was cancelled due to maintenance, but the staff informed us as soon as they were informed.
The lodge were involved in a vulture conservation which involved a daily feeding at 1pm. We attended this and was amazing to see them up close as well as learning about them and how they were being protected. We would definitely recommend."

Ra-Ikane River Cruise
"Ra-Ikane River Cruise review"
8 Sep 2022 • All-day excursion
The river cruise was great fun, the captain was very informative and was very good at spotting birds and animals which meant we got to saw lots and he was able to get close enough that we could capture good photos.
We were supplied with drinks and nibbles. Watching the sun set on the water was fantastic.
We would definitely recommend.

"We enjoyed our stay here. It was very well located. The staff were excellent and very helpful. They asked us what we were hoping to do & visit and with their advice booked all our activities and restaurants.
Our rooms were very comfortable and we had a lovely view of Lions Head. Tea/coffee available plus mini bar in room. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. There was a very nice communal seating area to make yourself comfortable. I think it would of been nice in this area if they has tea/coffee making facilities.
A lovely looking swimming pool which we didn't use as we visited in Spring.
We would definitely recommend."

You have your own individual little lodge with lovely views and seating area to enjoy. Inside was spacious with a well appointed bathroom. Bed very comfortable with a mosquito net. Tea & coffee available. There was both a ceiling fan & air conditioning depending on what you prefer. A safe to keep your valuables. The staff were absolutely friendly and professional and always on hand to help. The swimming pool area was very inviting although quite cold.
The food was amazing, the evening meal was announced by the chef each night. Some of the lodge staff and guides joined us at each meal, it was a group event which meant you got to meet and enjoy the rest of the guests. The guide tours were well organised & our guide Philly was great, we had a lot of fun with him & he had a wealth of knowledge.
During dark you are unable to walk to your own lodge as potentially unsafe as wild animals are around the area. There were security guards who escorted you. They would also collect you in the morning at 05.30 for the morning safari tour. The only downside side we found was, if you were in your own lodge and decided you wanted to go back to the main lodge, you couldn't as there was no way of getting in touch with the main lodge or the security guards.
The water safari was excellent, watching the elephants swimming across the river was magical as we eat our lunch. The whole experience of the safari was excellent and we saw many animals and birds in their natural surrounding at close quarters. The one outstanding moment of our trip was seeing a leopard on two consecutive days which was rare, according to one of the guides who has been there for 16 years had never seen one before. We would definitely recommend."
