My Jan 2023 trip
Kenya between 17 Jan 2023 and 27 Jan 2023
As a result of my wife having to undergo a shoulder operation soon after the booking we had to postpone the trip. Richard from EA was very helpful in arranging for changing the dates to January 2023 without any penalties from the camps where the bookings had been originally made."
Feedback response
We were very sorry that this group had to postpone their trip after one person was injured. Happily, on this occasion, we were able to postpone the itinerary to new dates with no cancellation charges, which is not often the case.

Elephant Bedroom
"Elephant Bedroom review"
The hot water in the showers did not work properly and an overhaul of the system needs to be done.
Although our booking stated that drinks were not included in the price, when we asked for the bill at the end it turned out that non-premium drinks were included. Expert Africa should have informed us of this, although this would not have made us consume any more drinks!"
The camp responded to the comments about the showers, apologising for the inconvenience to these guests. Elephant Bedroom Camp is fully solar powered, using solar panels to power heat pumps for the hot water. They stated that the length of pipe to these guests' tents was such that they needed to run the hot water for some time before it came through. However, they promised to urgently review the system with their installation company and ensure it was working correctly.
Little Governors' Camp

This is a matter that should be highlighted by Expert Africa at the time anyone is considering a booking at Little Governors."
My Oct 2019 trip
Kenya between 1 Oct 2019 and 11 Oct 2019
We had an exceptionally good trip. The cost was high, but worth it. The organisation was superb, with everyone along the way (the local transport, the domestic airlines and the camp staff) all being fully informed of our itinerary and being right on time on everything.
As I have said in the individual camp reviews, the food was superb as was the guiding."

Laikipia Wilderness
"Laikipia Wilderness"
The camp facilities were unpretentious compared with many other premiums priced camps, although it was more than sufficient to meet all our needs. The food was fabulous. The staff were all friendly and efficient and provided exceptional service. The guides, including Steve who accompanied us on two game drives/walks, were very knowledgeable and skilled. I have no hesitancy in recommending LWC to any potential safari goer, particularly if you are interested in seeing wild dogs, which are not that easy to see in most other places."
Naboisho Camp
"Naboisho Camp review"
In Naboisho we saw a large number of lions, including one pride feeding on a zebra. We also had an excellent sighting of a cheetah. We are also bird watchers and we were able to see many species.
Our driver/guide Daniel was excellent and did some amazing spotting. His bird knowledge was also exceptional, I can't recall even one bird he wasn't able to immediately identify, no matter how brief the initial sighting was."
Safari in Maasai Mara National Reserve
"Safari in Maasai Mara National Reserve review"
7 Oct 2019 • All-day excursion
a lioness taking down a wildebeest;
several prides of lions, one with a number of cubs feeding on a zebra and also going to drink water;
20+ spotted hyenas lolling around lazily in water/mud pools;
an amazing sighting of a herd of about 10 elephants spraying mud over themselves and lolling around in a tiny mud pool which only had room for 5 or 6 of them, which meant that they got all tangled up and had their legs and bodies at various odd angles;
4 adult male cheetas who had banded together to hunt (we heard they were famous), though they were disappointing because all they did was lie under a tree from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm when we had to leave to go back to our Camp.
The Emakoko
"The Emakoko review"
The guiding was good, although our guides knowledge of birds, although good, was not as exceptional as we had experienced at other camps during our trip."
Breakfast was excellent. Dinner quality in the restaurant on the top floor was only OK although the ambience was very nice."
