"We enjoyed our stay at the Commodore Hotel.

It was clean, spacious, and quiet. The location was very good; a short walking distance to the waterfront and away from the crowds.

The breakfasts had a varied menu and were excellent."

"Splash is a beautiful camp with variety and quantity of wildlife and quality of experiences. We were glad it was the first camp we visited because of the plentiful wildlife.

Our overall exposure to wildlife was incredible and we appreciated having a guide (Josiah) and tracker (Eba). We enjoyed Josiah and Eba who took the time everyday to discover experiences, share their knowledge of wildlife and village culture in the delta. Additionally, only the 2 of us were on the drive and the rest of the time there were a total of 4 people. Upon request, we did experience the boat ride and mokoro, which were very nice diversions.

Our cabin was roomy, excellent and we loved the outdoor shower. The food was exceptional and the staff was friendly, helpful, and regularly performed extra touches. For example, there was an unexpected dinner under the stars one night, and they provided warm blankets and water bottles for the very cold morning rides."

"Lagoon Camp is not in the Delta and we saw fewer wildlife. For that reason, we appreciated that Lagoon was our second camp. However, we appreciated experiencing animals in a different environment and the quality of experiences was high, as it was with Splash. Again, we had an excellent guide (Stan) and tracker (Kern), who we really enjoyed. They also focused on locating exceptional wildlife experiences.

The staff was smaller and a little more intimate with the guests. They shared more of their culture by engaging us with song and dance during the wonderful meals. We enjoyed the cabin (and loved the outdoor shower) and the view out to the nearby lake. In fact, one of the favorite times of my day was to sit on the cabin deck during siesta watching the animals in and around the lake.

We were fortunate that our rides included a total of 4 passengers, instead of 6."

The hotel is small and quiet and the room was large.

Getting to Vic Falls required a taxi but we never had an problem getting to or from."
