Excellent...Sabina was outstanding
Namibia between 14 Jan 2019 and 26 Jan 2019
Always positive, adopting an ‘can do’ & ‘can help’ attitude, nothing was too much trouble for Sabina and we’d be very happy to recommend Expert Africa and Sabina for anyone considering a trip to Namibia. Our trip was certainly an ‘adventure’ but we were reassured that with the backing and support of Sabina and her office, we were in good and safe hands.
It has been a pleasure to use Expert Africa and given another future trip we will certainly use them again."

Onguma Bush Camp
"Slightly Disappointing"
The lodge and facilities were Tired.
Dusty room...flies on window-sills and dust on tops of bedside light bulbs.
Some Sun-bed mattresses ripped along top.
Towels on sun-beds not cleared away (@ 19:00)...eventually done at 19:10 but the beds weren’t put straight.
1 Sun-bed frame rusted through.
No shower hot water day 1. Eventually fixed.
Requested a specific table for dinner but it didn’t happen...
There doesn’t appear to be anyone on the case to maintain and improve standards
Apart from Mercia, the duty manager, there do not appear to be any other women workers! So no feminine touch.
Of the 4 lodges we stayed at, this was our least favourite although the restaurant and food were very good. My wife went for a Spa Treatment at ‘The Fort’, also part of the Onguma complex and this was on a better and higher level."

Ongava Lodge
"Beautiful Location, Excellent Service"
Our room was charming and well appointed. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The restaurant and food a delight. As it was dark by the end of our evening meal, and there was the possibility of wild animals in the vicinity of our room, we were personally escorted back to our lodge room by an ‘armed employee’ which was reassuring.
My wife did a game drive which she loved....well organised and informative. Overall a great lodge which we would recommend."

Camp Kipwe
"Excellent Lodge..after a Tough/Hard Drive"
We were greeted by the Manager, Sarah, but she was pretty invisible apart from that. That said, here staff were all very helpful, charming and attentive. The ‘Viewpoint’ climb for sundowners was worth it with amazing views. Great selection of Virgin & Alcoholic Cocktails at the top plus a nice complimentary offering of canopies awaited guests on arrival. The evening dinner was excellent and on our 2nd / final night we were treated to dinner with 2 other couples / guests to dinner by candlelight by the Boma Fire...a unique and pleasurable experience where the food, staff and service were all excellent.
For those requiring ‘wifi’, there wasn’t any and unconvincing excuses were given as to why not...the bottom line in my opinion is that the management / owner didn’t appear to want to pay for the technical solution which is available these days.one other guest commented that like water & electricity, in this day and age WiFi is essential and assumed to be provided. While the Expert Africa information pack referenced this to be the case, we couldn’t find reference on the Camp Kipwe website that WiFi wasn’t available (mis-selling??!!).
Come on Management....it is 2019!!!
Also, insufficient umbrellas by the pool...just 2 for 5 sets of sun-beds."

Cornerstone Guesthouse
"Excellent Guesthouse"
We were less impressed with Swakopmund as a town but this was just a personal view.
We eat at 3 restaurants....The Jetty 1905, The Tug, and The Fish Deli...all were good...& we’d recommend all 3."
From being greeted by ‘Ben’ at the Game Reserve’ entrance to the accommodation, staff, food and game drives, everything about this lodge was excellent, to a very high standard, and a charming place to be. We would definitely recommend this lodge and return if in Namibia again.
We visited the ‘Plains Camp’ which was very sad pleasant but not on the same level nor class as the ‘Bush Camp’...Pay the extra, it’s worth it"
