"Provided a very well researched and considered experience for the four of us. Good variety of activities and accommodation. All transport and connections worked well. Maruska went to a lot of trouble to design a good trip for us at short notice. Would certainly recommend Expert Africa."

"A pleasant spot, just outside and overlooking Windhoek. Nice outlook from the rooms and some wildlife around. Dining was good. No real activities available at the Lodge."

"Very scenic location in the dunes. Small lodge with great "tents" and service. Interesting guided excursions. Walk through sand from rooms to main area not so good, but you can live with it!"

"Remote desert camp among the hills. Very helpful and friendly staff. Can do a few short walks here. Visit to a local village and a separate kindergarten were illuminating. Rough, rocky road in if you drive yourself, so best to leave vehicle at the main road and be ferried in. A great experience overall."

"A useful stop as it breaks the trip across Etosha National Park. The rooms are a bit old, but liveable. The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good and amongst the best we had anywhere. There was some confusion and much discussion about the cash key deposit system here. They need to change how they handle this.
However, plenty of wildlife to be seen in the Park nearby."

"Good place to learn about cheetahs, not too far from Windhoek. No activities included, so you need to pay for activities to see much. Could integrate overnight stays with activities better. If you want to see daily (free) cheetah feeding arrive by early afternoon or stay several days."

"Good outlook and location. Good dining.
There was no water on tap anywhere in the lodge for a day, which could have become a real problem with no toilet flushing etc and no communication with guests about the situation."

"Closest place to stay near Victoria Falls and with it's own wildlife: zebras, baboons, monkeys. Huge swimming pool if you want it. Have a good look at the Zambian side of the Falls from here and then walk over the bridge into Zimbabwe to see from another angle. But you need a visa - preferably get Kaza Univisa when first entering Zambia or Zimbabwe. Also take a short walk up river to David Livingstone Hotel (in the same grounds)."
