Encountering the gorillas in the forest was a wonderful experience.
We were able to get much closer to them than we had anticipated, because of the tightness of the undergrowth, and they did not seem at all disturbed. Their play and interactions were very moving.

"The staff and management of Mwamba did a remarkable job, providing a luxury experience in a camp setting which reverts to bush in the rainy season.
Sylvester was a great guide, but the best experience came in replacing an early morning a drive with session in the hide.
The proximity of the animals, including the mud sprayed from an elephant having a mud bath, was unbelievable."
