My Nov 2016 trip
Namibia between 25 Nov 2016 and 3 Dec 2016
"A marvellous safari without a single glitch. Connections were perfect and all aspects of the visit were clearly explained and punctual and the services provided were excellent. Staff at Windhoek were most accommodating as they were in all the other locations.
Namibia is beyond spectacular. What additionally impressed us was the attitude of the Namibians to their country and to the environment. Most reassuring to see the efforts being made to sustain the right balance.
The tour planning by Sabina was perfect for us."

"Delightful camp with excellent accommodation. Henry the manager was most helpful and all the staff were very friendly. Only issue was the heat with the temperature reaching 44 oC. The pool was very welcome!
Simon the guide was wonderful and we saw as much of Sossusvlei as we needed.
Little waterhole near our lodge was a bonus.
What a fascinating area.
Flying in and out allowed us to see the full majesty of the desert."

"The reception by the staff on arrival was lovely. They all sang as they did on both nights that we were there. Really a treat.
The location is only minutes from the airport and the quality of the accommodation is first class. I would say that it was the most impressive of the camps that we stayed at.
Slept under the stars.
William the guide was very helpful and located elephants for us. There is not a lot of game at this time in this part of Damaraland but the camp and the staff (and the other visitors) made it most enjoyable."

"The location and style of the Lodge is superlative. Their own reserve is more interesting than the Etosha Park itself as the vegetation is more varied and less desert like.
At this time of year with the rains just starting, there are fewer animals to be seen at the waterholes but we still had excellent sightings of all the animals that we wanted to see. Once again the guide like all the others that we had met, was exceptional and kept us very informed and helped our "education".
The lodge accommodation and facilities were excellent. The staff didn't have quite the "character" as those in Doro Nawas but it was lovely experience."

NO real "wow" factor (certainly compared to the safari lodges that we stayed in later)."
