Ondudu Safari Lodge
"Erongo Wilderness Lodge review"
Okonjima Plains Camp
"Okonjima Plains Camp review"
Overall, an excellent experience."
Okaukuejo Camp
"Okaukuejo Camp review"
However it is still worth staying there for the volumes of game it attracts to its lit water hole.
As many have remarked, a theatrical event in itself. On one occasion I saw 9 rhino enjoying the waters."
Anderssons Camp, Namibia (this camp has since closed)
"Anderssons Camp review"
On the game drive I had, we got up close to lion and rhinos (great in its way) - but too close. The animals were clearly disturbed. The guiding lacked sensitivity and was too-focused on achieving two photo ops. (I realise this is a guiding dilemma.)"

Dolomite Camp
"Dolomite Camp review"
Its hill-top location, gives great views over the plains on either sides, but requires dexterous buggy driving to get luggage to the spread-out tents. A slightly bizarre arrangement from a practical point of view, not ideal for anyone whose ability to walk is compromised. To be fair I was only there one night."
Desert Rhino Camp
"Desert Rhino Camp review"
As I was on my own, its policy of all guests sitting down together for dinner was especially attractive. But had I been with my wife I'm sure we'd have counted that a plus. All-in-all excellent service."
Doro Nawas
"Doro Nawas review"
The elephant spotting is pretty sure it seems, and rewarding. In quality and service, although a whisker down on its sister Desert Rhino Camp, still excellent.
What was amazing was the change in scenery that took place about 15 kms before Noro Nawas, coming from DRC."
Central Guest House, Namibia (this camp has since closed)
"Central Guest House review"
Very convenient."

Coast and Sandwich Harbour
"A Brilliant Day"
7 Nov 2015 • All-day excursion
His deep knowledge, expert driving and remarkable English made for a memorable day.
Spend as much time as you can, absorbing the tranquility of the bay.
Sossus Dune Lodge
"Sossus Dune Lodge review"
Quality and service close to privately-owned lodges. Comfortable, generous chalets.
While the dunes are the thing, Sesriem Canyon at the Lodge's entrance is not to be overlooked."
BullsPort Lodge and Farm
"Bullsport Guest Farm review"
Interesting, too, to learn about the difficulties of farming in such a harsh landscape. Added an element of variety to my stays."
Eningu Clayhouse
The guiding was good.
The lodge comfortable and relaxed."
