A memorable, wonderful trip

"We were delighted with Expert Africa and would definitely recommend them to anyone. Some friends recommended them to us and we thank them.
We would certainly use them again but not use any Budget vehicles. Fortunately we had two experienced 4 x 4 drivers with us otherwise we are not sure what we would have done being stranded at the airport in Walvis Bay. Budget could have ruined our holiday so expertly arranged by Expert Africa."

"Very unusual location. We were in very hot exceptional weather - 40c plus, therefore could have used air-con! Staff very friendly and helpful. Good vista from the rooms."

"A small refuge in a vast wilderness"

"Expert Africas warnihg re needing to pay a deposit and take an inventory of room contants proved not correct. This is apparently only required in Chobe. Staff were wonderful and so friendly. Scenery spectacular especially sun sets. Dune 45 wonderful.
Birdlife in Sossusvlei Pan wonderful and very tame. Feeding from hand. Many problems with our vehicle. Our Budget Hire 4 x 4 not a good vehicle at all and totally unsuitable for soft sand. See later comments. Rangers needed to tow us out."

Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch
"Our wonderful Out of Africa experience."

"Although this ranch did not have a variety of game it was a wonderful stopover. Unfortunately for us we only one night here. The main house was reminiscent of 'Out of Africa' and was definitely a favourite for us. Tame springbock joined us for breakfast.
The sunset game drive was most enjoyable complete with sundowners with a very good guide. Would love to go back!"

A high-light of our stay was the catamaran trip in Walvis Bay. Seals on the boat, large dolphins chasing the boat and further out of the bay there were hundreds of small dusky dolphins which apparently only appear two or three times a year. How lucky were we! We even saw several huge sun fish. All this and sparkling wine and fresh oysters."
