Kuro Tarangire: video gallery

Kuro Tarangire: picture gallery

Kuro Tarangire is located in a quiet spot deep within the national park.
The six tented rooms are spacious and airy...
...with double...
... or twin beds.
In front of the bed there is also a comfortable sofa and...
...and a writing desk, all with views.
Behind the bed is a bathroom sink...
...and a dressing area with bath robes provided.
Bucket showers are on offer and can be enjoyed either inside or out.
At the front of the chalet is a spacious deck with seating...
...in order to soak up the views or to check out what is visiting the small birdbath.
It is also worth catching a glimpse of the sunrise from the deck, as they can be spectacular.
A sight to enjoy whilst drinking your morning tea or coffee.
The main area is open sided and fairly rustic but nonetheless comfortable and homely.
There is an open lounge area...
... with low coffee tables and plenty of places to sit ...
... including several directors chairs where you can watch the wildlife pass by.
There is a separate dining area where meals are eaten communally ...
... and a well stocked bar at one end.
Even the loos adjacent to the main area make the most of the view!
A short walk in front of the camp is this tree platform, often used for sundowners.
Bush walks are often one of the highlights of a stay at Kuro...
...where the focus is normally on the smaller things that you might miss from a game vehicle.
A morning walk normally ends with a delightful bush breakfast.
Games drives are also not to be missed as Tarangire has a particularly good population of elephants.
A nearby marsh that attracts numerous wildlife is a wonderful place to explore...
...with many memorable experiences to be enjoyed.
