Asanja Ruaha is situated right on the Ruaha River. Ruaha is famous for its Ancient Baobab trees and the camp is ideally located among these trees and the Miombo forest.

In 2008, the Usungu Game Reserve and other important wetlands were added to the Ruaha National Park, increasing its size to 20,226 square kilometers making it the largest park not only in Tanzania but the entire East Africa.

Ruaha is a hidden Gem in Safari circles. The park boasts of her almost untouched and unexplored ecosystem, allowing the visitor to have a rare safari experience away from the maddening crowd of other vehicles. It is home to one of the largest population of elephants and has the second largest concentration of lions on earth. The Lesser Kudu is only seen in this park along with the endangered wild dogs.

With eight luxury guest suites, no expense has been spared to ensure your utmost comfort and privacy. Attention to detail shines throughout the camp. Each tented suite is 140 sq.mtrs with its own verendah and a private plunge pool overlooking the great Ruaha River.

Our staff are our secret to success, their loyalty and meticulousness to detail have bought us to the pinnacle of the safari industry. Your ultimate comfort and safety are their priorities.
