She continually went above and beyond in every aspect of our trip from negotiating upgrades to arranging for great local guides and transport. "All good bar two very (very) minor things.
Two parks provided great mix of scenery and wildlife. Two camps were of very high all round standrad.

"We have used Expert Africa for all of our trips and have never been disappointed. They provide expert guidance on chosing camps that suit us, as they know the types of camps and locations that we will enjoy. They have often given us new places to consider and their recommendations have been excellent.
A traveler should keep in mind that animals move about and you can't be assured of finding everything in one area. On this trip, we traveled to the eastern Serengeti and to Ruaha and the Selous in the south in order to find a variety -- more lions in one area, more elephants in another, for example. "An excellent trip that lived up to expectations. It was well planned and well thought out. Our only slight reservation was the Coastal Aviation detour to get from Tarangire to Ruaha, which took a lot longer than scheduled."

"Our experience in Tanzania in the camps was first rate.
All travel arrangements worked well. Unfortunately we have serious concerns about the quality of the staff we dealt with in Expert Africa in terms to their attention to detail and customer communication skills. I will be sending a separate email to the Managing Director on these aspects.

"On extra thing we added - we were due back in DAR at 4pm for the KLM flight at 11pm. As check-in wasn't open until 8pm, this gave a bit of a gap to fill. We didn't want to risk the journey to and from a hotel in the city centre, but we did find a relatively new hotel, the "Blue Sapphire" which is 10mins away, on the main airport boulevard, where we freshened up and had a meal before heading back to the airport. I would say it was adequate for this purpose and would be ok for an overnight as well, based on our experience here.
The new international terminal (T3) is coming in to use and although not fully opened, looks like a reasonably standard airport environment, so may be better for hanging about in than T2 was previously." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 7 on a Tanzania safari
