"This day was wonderful, because it showed us the reality of life in a Tanzanian village - we saw how the 'normal' people of Tanzania live and work.

We had a special lunch cooked for us in the village (although, I was sick that evening - my husband was not - so not sure but feels like it was related....).

"We added this a little last minute to our trip but we are glad we did as it gave us a bit more of an understanding of what life is like in a Tanzanian village.

Our guide (Katarina) did a great job showing us around and explaining different aspects of village life. We also had an amazing (and very generous!) lunch, which was very welcome break from the very international-style food that we had elsewhere.

We also visited a Masai village as part of the tour, which was quite a unique experience.
