"Our New Style Africa Holiday"

I visited South Africa between 20 Mar 2017 and 1 Apr 2017
"We were looking for a change from bashing around in off road vehicles while laced with Malarone. In Galenia we found exactly what we wanted and will return. Samara will need a replacement but we are sure that can be done. If not, we would be happy to spend the whole holiday in Galenia.

As ever, Expert Africa and Lucy provided the friendly, slick, efficient and professional help we have come to expect. It all worked wonderfully well and a real bonus was to be able to meet Lucy for a drink in Cape Town. We probably have a few more African holidays in the bag and this one set a great pattern." "Trip of a lifetime"

I visited South Africa between 1 Apr 2016 and 14 Apr 2016
"Overall we had an amazing trip, such a shame that the Larids lodge didnt live up to the standard of the rest of the trip.

Our agent Claire who we booked the trip through was SO helpful and couldn’t have done more. Her advice was invaluable and very worthwhile." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 11 on a South Africa trip

"My Oct 2014 trip"

I visited South Africa and 2 other countries between 1 Oct 2014 and 21 Oct 2014
"First of all we must complement Expert Africa for helping us choose where to go and where to stay, we have had a fantastic time, so many memories . . . .

Everything worked like clockwork - flights, transfers and car hire.

A bonus was being able to dip out of the programme to stay with my sister for a couple of days.

Each element of the holiday - Victoria Falls, Okavango Delta, the Cape were all different but enjoyable in their own way.

One thing that worked particularly well was to have the leisurely stop at Victoria Falls at the beginning of the holiday, and the leisurely shopping stop in Cape Town at the end." Read full review: 20 nights in Africa; 10 on a South Africa trip

"Fabulous Namibia"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 20 Sep 2013 and 12 Oct 2013
"Excellent second trip to Namibia where we explored north of Windhoek, covering Etosha and Damaraland. Our previous visit was south of Windhoek to Kalahari, Fish River Canyon and Sossusvlei. Both were equally fabulous for scenery and animals.

It was brilliant seeing the wildlife at the waterholes in Etosha from our car and also at the waterholes in the various lodges we stayed in. The service everywhere in Namibia was excellent and very friendly.

No wonder Namibia has featured strongly for a number of years in the world's top ten countries to visit by readers of the Wanderlust travel magazine.

The garden route in South Africa, following Namibia, was a little tame and too touristy in comparison although it was great seeing whales in the bay at Hermanus. The food and wine in S.A. is extremely good and cheap in comparison to the UK.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

My husband thinks I should be paid for completing this feedback! It was a bit time consuming due to the number of lodges we stayed in over a three week period - it becomes a job to remember them all clearly.

Having said that the trip was brilliantly organised by Gwynneth and we will be contacting her again for our next trip in a couple of years time." Read full review: 22 nights in Africa; 12 on a Namibia trip

"My Mar 2013 trip"

I visited South Africa between 28 Mar 2013 and 11 Apr 2013
"We had a brilliant time - none of us wanted to come home!

It was really easy to travel around, all the hotels were good or brilliant and easy to find and we managed to do everything but Table Mountain (long queue on Easter Monday that the children couldn't have handled).

We found everyone we met really helpful and friendly and can't wait to go back. 12 out of 10 for a holiday (and we have had some pretty great ones in the past).

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

No - its all be great. Thanks for all your help!" Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 13 on a South Africa trip
