Cormoran Lodge: picture gallery

Cormoran Lodge is located on the shores of Lake Kivu...
Its 7 rooms are all raised up on stilts affording excellent views.
A small man-made beach sits at the bottom of the steep slope...
It's fairly small, but has a number of loungers surrounding it too.
There are toys for children to play with...
...and a campfire to enjoy in the cool evenings...
Swimming can be done from the small jetty nearby.
Guests can also rent kayaks and motorboats or go waterskiing.
The central areas house the dining room...
...main bar...
...and some areas to relax.
A roaring fire is lit here each evening!
The rooms all have a terrace with great views...
Inside they're simple...
...and stylish...
Each has an en-suite bathroom...
...designed in a very natural style.
Overall, we were impressed by Cormoran Lodge.
The food and service were great...
And the views spectacular.
