"Namibia July 2014"

I visited Namibia between 9 Jul 2014 and 20 Jul 2014
"We had a great trip - we have visited Africa more than 20 times so had a good idea of what to expect. Having planned our route, Sabina helped us to refine, check what was actually possible from a driving distance perspective and find the best options available in each location.

There were some late changes, both on our part and Expert Africa's, which were handled very well. Things ran smoothly from collection of hire car to it's return almost two weeks later. Namibia is a great country to visit for a self-drive, we would highly recommend it as we would Expert Africa!" Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 12 on a Namibia trip

"Amazing trip"

I visited Namibia between 8 Jul 2014 and 16 Jul 2014
"Our Namibia trip was so interesting and absolutely gorgeous in the red desert ( my favourite ) and Etosha was almost too much to believe. I found the big waterhole almost like a Disney movie. Never seen anything like it!

Everything went well. Our scenic flights were wonderful even with some fog/haze. All the accommodation very beautiful. The people and history most interesting.

Very well organized by Maruska . We felt very well taken care of.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Sorry it was too well organized." Read full review: 8 nights in Africa; 6 on a Namibia trip

"Another trip of a lifetime!!"

I visited Namibia between 7 Jun 2014 and 6 Jul 2014
"Our trip to Namibia was stunning and more than we could have hoped for. We can't thank Expert Africa enough for making our limited budget go as far as it did! Sabina managed to arrange some outstanding accomodation for us.

Everywhere we went it was noticeable that the lodge owners had only good things to say about Expert Africa and your handling agents in Southern Africa, (Wilderness Safari's?)

I would just to to say thank you so much for organising our trip. We hope to be in touch again soon to arrange another adventure!!!

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Keep up the good work. You clearly have a good reputation in Southern Africa so you must be doing something right." Read full review: 29 nights in Africa; 25 on a Namibia trip

"My Jun 2014 trip"

I visited Namibia between 5 Jun 2014 and 26 Jun 2014
"We had an amazing time. All the arrangements worked well. The accommodation was of a high standard and we were very impressed by the friend and efficient service that we met everywhere we travelled. We were so pleased you highly recommended a spare wheel as we don't know how we would have coped without it. Some of the days required a lot of driving over gravel roads which would not be for the faint hearted. Shame some of the money being spent on widening the road near Windhoek is not being used to upgrade the tourist route to Seisriem. However, that is not the fault of Expert Africa. We have already recommended your company to friends and are full of praise for your website which gave us all the information we needed in order to put the trip together." "A good holiday"

I visited Namibia between 3 Jun 2014 and 19 Jun 2014
"Chris McIntyre's book was excellent. We found it very useful and wished we had access to it before planning out trip as we would have made some changes to our itenery. In retrospect, we would have preferred a different camp in Damaraland or even taken a different route to Etosha. While in Etosha, we found Chris McIntyre's book invaluable, especially his advice on waterholes and best places to see wildlife.

We were incredibly lucky to see 12 or more rhinos gathered at the waterhole in Okaukuejo one night. We were also lucky to see a cheetah and cub and catch a glimpse of a leopard. However, we had no lion sightings which is a pity as were keen to see Namibian lions.

As for planning, if we had stated rather than implied that we were keen wildlife photographers we wonder if our route would have been different? We also wish we had stayed at Namutoni camp instead of Mushara camp as this would have given is additional wildlife viewing time before and after sunset.

Angela has been very efficient and helpful throughout the booking process and we are very happy with the service provided by Expert Africa." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 14 on a Namibia trip

"My May 2014 trip"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 22 May 2014 and 7 Jun 2014
"The trip was fabulous.

We were too tired in Cape Town to fully appreciate and enjoy it. Then having to get to a 6am flight to Windhoek, really kept us from getting fully adjusted. I did not appreciate the distances we had to cover in Namibia and the slow going (with no place for rest stops) on the gravel roads. We loved everything we saw in Namibia, and I have no regrets. I just wish we had more opportunity for catching our breath or down time!

Botswana is special - everything is easy. Wilderness Safaris do an amazing job, down to helping us check our luggage as we were departing from Maun. All their staff are charming and helpful. I am ready to go again - next time, other Wilderness lodges!" Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 8 on a Namibia trip

"Amazing trip in an magnificent country"

I visited Namibia between 10 May 2014 and 21 May 2014
"Expert Africa was excellent in planning our trip - a very big thank you.

For our last night, we changed our pre booked plans and stayed in the Olive Exclusive hotel in Windhoek. Thoroughly recommended. It is part of the group that owns Erongo and has a guest house next door, and we would consider booking the latter next time.

It is huge country with very friendly people and the only question is which places do we visit next year? (I believe my wife has already decided that!!). Nearly forgot: kayaking with the wild seals in Walvis Bay was one of the highlights. Jeanne was a fantastic guide here and we had a wonderful morning. She was most kind enough to email us photos and a video. Overall: Thank you very much." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 11 on a Namibia trip
