Barkhan Dune Retreat: picture gallery

The Barchan Dune Retreat is situated in one of Namibia’s most scenic areas.
The main area is very comfortably furnished...
…such as the homely dining room …
…with an open-plan kitchen…
… and an outside eating area.
The small courtyard garden offers enough sitting options to relax…
…and to enjoy the surrounding nature.
The building is traditional in style and houses just six rooms.
Each room has a double bed with a mosquito net…
…a wardrobe, a writing desk, a flask with cold water…
...an extra sleeper couch…
…and a pair of chairs with a desk.
The en-suite bathroom is spacious and clean.
Outside each room has a shaded sitting area and a view of the surroundings.
At the lodge there is also a rock pool....
...and a path that leads to a viewing spot.
However, you could just sit back and admire the beautiful scenery all around…
…with a little luck you may get to see some of the cute resident meerkats.
