Elegant Farmstead: picture gallery

The Elegant Farmstead is located an hour and a half's drive north of Windhoek.
A former mission station, the farmstead has kept the look of a traditional farmhouse.
The Elegant Farmstead offers 11 spacious rooms...
...all located in the old farm buildings.
The rooms are stylishly decorated in browns and creams...
...and have a good amount of space.
All of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms that continue the soft colour scheme.
Outside is a large turquoise pool located in the pretty gardens...
Next to the pool is a covered dining area...
...which is connected by a wooden walkway...
...to the open-air dining area, used on warmer evenings.
After dinner, guests can enjoy biltong platters around the campfire...
...head to the bar for a drink...
...or just relax in the quirky chairs.
Inside the main building...
...is the tastefully decorated lounge with large leather sofas...
...and a honesty cabinet.
Out in the well-tendered gardens...
...are a number of seating areas and day beds...
...as well as well-tended lawns.
There are various farm animals on the still working farm...
...as well as a variety of plains game on the surrounding land, such as giraffe, oryx and kudu.
