Dugong Lodge: picture gallery

Dugong Lodge is located close to the Bazaruto Archipelago, on Mozambique’s mainland.
Formerly consisting of basic tents, it was destroyed in a cyclone…
… and completely rebuilt in 2008.
All rooms are identical in style and contain…
… either a double bed…
… or twin beds.
The open-plan bathroom has twin sinks…
… and a free standing bath-tub.
The two family suites have two rooms…
… and a pool on the deck.
You are served delicious meals in the main area...
… or can simply sit back and enjoy the view.
A large brass dugong greets you when entering the lounge…
… which is furnished with comfortable sofas.
There is also a well-stocked bar.
The outside dining area leads directly to…
… the lodge’s many pools where you can find sunbeds…
… and hammocks to enjoy the sunset.
Relax on the beach…
… or take some amazing photos from the jetty…
… which also provides a separate dining table for special occasions.
Its isolated long beach…
… and its pristine marine surroundings…
… make for a unique experience.
