Heuglins Guest House: Our full report

Heuglins Guest House (also known as Heuglins Lodge) is situated in the northern suburbs of Lilongwe, Malawi's ...

... capital, a few minutes away from the city centre and approximately 35 minutes' drive from Lilongwe International Airport. It is named after the brightly coloured Heuglin's robin, often seen in the lodge's gardens.

Heuglins Lodge was formerly a private home and offers three comfortable en-suite bedrooms each with satellite TV and Wifi. It also has a dining and lounge area with comfy sofas and armchairs and a self-service honesty bar, as well as a wildlife library. Outside a shady veranda overlooks the lush gardens and outdoor swimming pool. Breakfast is included and dinner and available on request.

Heuglins is an ideal lodge for overnight stops in Lilongwe, either before or after an inter-continental flight, and as a relaxing interlude before or after a safari.

Airport transfers and Lilongwe excursions are available at an additional cost.
