Larsens Tented Camp: picture gallery

Larsen's pool is unusual at a tented camp, but in this climate it's a welcome asset.
As is the shade provided by the trees all around the camp.
There are 20 tented rooms at Larsen's Camp.
They are really spacious tents that all face towards the river.
Inside, each is nicely maintained with wooden floors and comfortable furniture.
The bedroom has power 24-hours a day for lighting and charging batteries.
Though the lighting is held in traditional lanterns, making them discreet.
Through the back of the tent is the ensuite bathroom.
It is provided with a flush toilet and a running hot-and-cold shower.
Next to the reception is a shop selling a variety of products from Nairobi.
The pool is located at the back of the camp.
It offers a welcome retreat from the heat.
There's also an adjoining Jacuzzi.
The restaurant, lounge and bar are located in a large open-plan tent.
Inside is a billowing cream canvas ceiling and cool stone floors.
The food quality is very good.
The bar and lounge area are next to the dining area.
The comfortable cream sofas are perfect to relax and enjoy a drink from the bar.
The wooden deck at Larsen's has great views across the park and is a perfect spot for sundowners.
