"My April 2015 trip of a lifetime"
I look forward to coming back, and would not hesitate to use Expert Africa again." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 4 on a South Africa trip
"My Apr 2015 trip"
"Our Easter Safari Vacation"
One suggestion: when the kids are young, less than 12, I would limit the safari days to 6.

Everything was very good." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 10 on a Botswana safari
"My Apr 2015 trip"
The organisational skills and expertise of Expert Africa who also gave sound advice on choice of safari lodges, allowed this to be a pleasurable and stress-free experience.

Carry on ! I wonder if there is any scope to encourage lodges to construct hides. Spending time waiting to see what comes by a waterhole say would be good for photographers and others on occasion." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 8 on a Botswana safari
"My Mar 2015 trip"
"Excellent safari holiday"
Good choice of camps and lodges and guiding was great.
Our first safari in wet season but was not normal as had been drier than usual which reduced options for activities in the delta but on the flip side made finding cats easier." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 9 on a Botswana safari
"Excellent short break in Savute"
Would totally recommend Savute, especially if the channel starts to flow again. But be aware that you're in a national park so not totally away from other visitors and some restrictions (no off-road, back by dusk). But nothing we weren't aware of ahead of time and in no way an issue for us.

would be nice to have the booking form online and not need to fill it in again every time we take an Expert Africa trip :-)" Read full review: 6 nights in Africa; 4 on a Botswana safari
"My Mar 2015 trip"
I don't think anyone should go to South Africa, without also visiting Botswana. I don't know which "season" is best, but it was great when we went. We enjoyed meeting many interesting people, we enjoyed having the knowledgeable guides join us for meals.

I knew who I wanted to arrange our trip, Maruska, so didn't really inquire or read your brochure, nor check your website.
It was also very nice to meet Ellie Dunkels [Ed: one of our team - as she was on a trip to review and inspect camps] in several of our camps." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 10 on a Botswana safari
"A truly amazing Safari"
Even though I gave some negative comments, I truly believe if Vumbura renews the furnishings and improves their maintenance it will be a Premium camp. The location and wildlife were some of the best on the trip, also the managers were really trying to do their best in a changing situation in the midst of construction.
I don't intend to let the attitude of the managers at the Savute Safari Lodge affect my enjoyment and memories of the time I spent there, I met some interesting and friendly guests at the lodge and saw great wildlife and the third guide OB was one of the better guides of the trip. Travelling as a single person has it's challenges and I know that, it was the unexpected contrast with how I had been treated at the other camps that made it such an unpleasant surprise.
All in all it was a great experience and I would repeat it tomorrow if I had the chance!" Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 14 on a Botswana safari
"Fantastic Holiday"
Felt safe throughout the trip. Tranfers at borders ran smoothly as did the car rental return All the staff at the lodges very professional and helpful. On reflections I think we would have rather stayed in slightly larger lodges. This is because sometimes we were the only ones there so lots of the activities were not on offer or to expensive as there was only the two of us. Food throughout was of a very high standard. Also the fact that the pound against the South African Rand is high made it a very good value holiday.!
Talking about a return visit as we headed home!

We used our credit cards at all the lodges and camps therefore did not need to take large wads of money.. In Kasane where we filled up with petrol, before handing back the car they took any currency, rand, sterling Dollars etc and the rate of exchange was on par with banks. This was great because we then did not have to change money into pula just for the petrol." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 11 on a Namibia trip
