"Botswana safari and Victoria Falls"

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 26 May 2015 and 5 Jun 2015
"Once in a lifetime trip! Botswana was beautiful, people were friendly, and game viewing was out of this world. We saw more animals than we ever thought we would see. The private game reserves are worth the extra cost because you can get closer to the animals. The guides were extremely knowledgable and taught us a lot. Tracking skills were outstanding. The lodges were all beautiful and great with conservation efforts. There were only a few kinks in our trip. Kwara camp staff were lacking people skills and clearly weren't happy to be there. Also, on the Zimbabwe side of Victoria Falls we were harassed by some local street sellers and threatened. Though everyone else in Zimbabwe were very friendly so we didn't let this ruin our experience. I would recommend local guides or tourism police for going out in public next time. Overall this trip was outstanding, we are already talking about going back some day!" Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 8 on a Botswana safari

"My May 2015 trip"

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 25 May 2015 and 10 Jun 2015
"Trip of a lifetime

Loved all the camps in different ways but preferred the Kawando Group because it is locally owned and the staff seemed more genuine and accommodating. Just a different and more relaxed atmosphere than the corporate owned.

Flying from camp to camp was so relaxing unlike our previous trip to Tanzania where we were on bumpy roads most of the day

Everything went so smoothly with no delays and the camps were even more impressive than we ever imagined

It was simply the best in every way

"Exceptional experience."

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 14 Apr 2015 and 23 Apr 2015
"I cannot say enough to about this trip.

So many truly exceptional experiences, so many kind, warm people, the beauty of the region is astounding as is the amount of wildlife to be viewed. The diversity of the forests, grasses, plants and trees is also spectacular. All the guides and trackers were knowledgeable and so much fun to be with. There were nice connections and nice moments.

Without a doubt I will return to this area and without a doubt I will use Expert Africa.

Not really. Nick was always so timely, informative and attentive. It has been a pleasure working with him over this past year. Also, it is nice to have found a company where I can refer people and be assured that they will receive the best treatment.

Thank you all so much." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 7 on a Botswana safari

"My Mar 2015 trip"

I visited Botswana between 1 Mar 2015 and 11 Mar 2015
"Fantastic! I wish we were young enough to return.

I don't think anyone should go to South Africa, without also visiting Botswana. I don't know which "season" is best, but it was great when we went. We enjoyed meeting many interesting people, we enjoyed having the knowledgeable guides join us for meals.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

I knew who I wanted to arrange our trip, Maruska, so didn't really inquire or read your brochure, nor check your website.

It was also very nice to meet Ellie Dunkels [Ed: one of our team - as she was on a trip to review and inspect camps] in several of our camps." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 10 on a Botswana safari

"An experience of a lifetime"

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 23 Oct 2014 and 8 Nov 2014
"This was our first Safari trip and it's hard top imagine how it could have been any better - we had a fabulous time and enjoyed every minute.

Thanks to Expert Africa for arranging a marvellous trip for us.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

An extremely minor point, which is that, contrary to the info in our pre-holiday briefing pack, Zambian Immigration does now accept payment for the Visa in GBP (£35) as well as USD. And they seem quite happy to accept $50 bills, so there is no need to go running round trying to get USD in small denominations for this.

One other thing, if visiting Victoria Falls at this time of year(late October) we would recommend visiting the Zimbabwe side for a better experience, as there was very little water going over the Zambian part, which reduces the spectacle a little." I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 10 Oct 2014 and 20 Oct 2014
"A very well constructed trip, with great diversity of terrain and a very distinct feel to every camp.

The logistics worked very well as did the advice on what to expect. We would come back for advice on future African trips." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 8 on a Botswana safari
