"This was a great holiday"
"A long trip"
The scenery in Namibia is outstanding and quite a lot of the lodges we stayed in are very special and memorable. There was a lot of driving but we coped with that. The government rest camps need to be better run but they are in excellent locations.
Zebra River Lodge was an absolute disaster, both in location and the trip to Sossousvlei but I hope you will take some action on this and return the money for the trip.
We had a great disappointment with Turnstone in Walvis Bay and feel this should be some recompense here too.
I am not sure what happened at the Olive Grove but if we did pay I hope you will refund the 450 dollars.
All the hotels were expecting us and it is very obvious that Expert Africa is very highly thought of and respected, especially in Namibia.
Overall we were treated very well in both countries.
It has been a very memorable trip and will take some time to consolidate." Read full review: 40 nights in Africa; 22 on a Namibia trip

I don't tend to use travel agents any more but Expert Africa made the whole holiday booking easier and were able to give first hand information on the places we were going." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zambia safari

However we booked this trip because the emphasis was on it being a walking safari. We felt we had to persuade to walk at times, which was disappointing for us. It seemed that some other guests had not been sold it in the same way and were happy to drive.
We have friends who did an almost identical trip through you last year and this was not their experience. Despite the one unfortunate drive we had a really memorable time, and were impressed with the efficiency and smoothness of organisation. Thank you." "Maybe even better than the Galapagos?"
Maybe to see some of Namibia that we didn't get to see this time - the Caprivi strip perhaps - and possibly combine it with a visit to Botswana. Car hire arrangements were very good - pick-up and drop-off very efficient.
Just one small point: wish I'd known that we could have saved our 'tax invoices' to reclaim VAT at the airport! It wouldn't have been a significant amount, but it would have given me something to do instead of hanging around, and would have given me a few extra dollars for last-minute frittering!
The Bradt guide was very good - a tiny bit out of date as regards prices." Read full review: 21 nights in Africa; 19 on a Namibia trip
"The holiday of a lifetime!"
It was worth spending time on the organisation of our itinerary which was about as good as it could have been providing variety and excitement all the way. All in all a brilliant trip." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 14 on a Zambia safari
"Wonderful wildlife on a memorable trip"
In hindsight (and ignorance of the quality of some of the roads) we could have allowed either for a longer trip or less travelling on a daily basis - but, of course, funding also comes into the equation!
The people are friendly and welcoming, made easier for us because English is widely spoken. Even better for holiday makers from the UK is the fact that you also drive on the left!
We felt comfortable travelling with our daughter (12) and the maps provided were fine for enabling us to travel easily between stops. A nice touch was the marking of our route by Maruska.
Although it is clear, through speaking to a variety of people, that Namibia has come a long way since independence, there is still a marked contrast between rich and poor which served as a salutory lesson.
All in all, this has been a trip we will remember (aided by hundreds of photos) for a very long time." Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 10 on a Namibia trip
