"This was my 14 trip to Africa and my first time with Expert Africa. I do so appreciate the detail that Olivia put into my trip. She did listen to my expectations and desires for the type of safari that I wish to experience. The animal sightings and accommodations were excellent. The guides and camp staff paid attention to details and were very knowledgeable about all aspects of the trip. I appreciate that the camps were involved in community service and took the time to share their knowledge with me during my stay. I also appreciate that the camps were trying to be conscious of not polluting the environment and using solar power throughout camp.

"Incredible, unforgettable family vacation. If we had known how miraculous a safari trip would be, we would have found a way to scrape the money together decades ago.

"The trip exceeded our expectations in every way.

Having 3 very distinct geographical regions, starting with the desert, was intentional (to help us absorb a 9 hr time difference), and then to experience the most of Botswana.

Loved each area and camp for very different reasons, but have to give the special mention to Lebala Camp and their staff. This was supposed to be a "once in a lifetime trip" for a milestone birthday........but plans to return to Botswana started before coming home.

"Our trip was absolutely amazing.

We spent three days on safari at Kiba Point and four nights in Zanzibar at Zuri Zanzibar. The entire trip was flawless. Our transfers and flights were well coordinated and timely. The accommodations and food were all top notch. Could not have asked for a better vacation.

It was a shame that the outward journey was complicated by the failure of the Emirates flight on which I'd been re-booked to take off on the evening of Nov 17th, which meant missed connections and a night in Lusaka and missing two nights in the park. But thanks to Amanda for managing the changes and keeping me informed, and for looking into the possibility of changing my final flight home." "The appalling weather - floods and incessant, torrential rain, awful driving conditions for guide and passengers, shocking light and apocalyptic rain for the most part was hard to manage from a photographic standpoint and that was a big part of the trip.

Of course there were some breaks in the weather but over a three week period it was tough to only have one day without rain [it rained in the evening] and the condones in The Mara simply deteriorated the more rain that fell.
