"Family safari in Zambia"
The itinerary and choice of locations was great for our family and just what we were looking for - I think the sequencing was perfect.
The only thing I would change in hindsight would be at least one more night at Vic Falls." Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 11 on a Zambia safari
"Amazing safari to South Luangwa."
We have been on many safaris before but never seen so much game, especially Leopard and Lion, as this time.
Our camps were faultless and our guides were wonderful.
Claire, thank you for organizing such a lovely trip for us.
We really appreciated your advice in the camps you helped us choose.
They were all excellent.
A perfect holiday!" Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 10 on a Zambia safari
"Zambia family safari"
This may have been our last safari as age is catching up on us on the journey out and back is long and tiring without a direct flight. Nevertheless if direct flights do return the temptation to return to Zambia may become too great to ignore.

Freddie [Ed: one of Expert Africa's Zambia experts] was great from the start, spending 45 minutes on my initial call to explain all the options and costings. Couldn't have asked for more. We received a guidebook which was great before and during the trip. A really nice touch. Freddie continued to advise us on aspects of the trip that we were looking at beyond our visit to South Luangwa Park. This was much appreciated." "Zambia July 2016"
The weather was more akin to the end of August than the end of July and everywhere was very dry, forcing the game to the river. In all 3 lodges visited, Tena Tena, Lion Camp and Nkwali, we had excellent guides and better sightings than expected. Tena Tena and Lion Camp were more remote locations with less safari traffic than Nkwali.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip." Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 11 on a Zambia safari
"Our July/August 2016 Zambia safari"
Good game viewing seeing the majority of animals including lion, leopard, genet, wild dogs, buffalo, hippos, elephant, antelope, and also lots of others. Also good bird life viewing.
As always the guided walking were very well organised and with excellent guides (especially Kanga), also good spotting of animals on walks.
Having been to Zambia 4/5 times now we wonder if there are less lions than there used to be, there is some hunting allowed adjacent to some of the park boundaries and does this affect numbers and cause more inter-breeding? We did see lions but not in large numbers, max 3 at one time and no cubs were seen, but it was said there were 2/3 cubs in the areas we were at." "Best Safari Ever in South Luangwa"
The game viewing was truly amazing, with wild dogs and leopard cubs being the highlights. We had some excellent guiding, and the camps were stunning and very varied in style.
South Luangwa is a little piece of paradise and I think still under rated as a safari destination." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 14 on a Zambia safari

"South Luangwa July 16"
July seemed to me a good time to have gone - slightly chilly at the start of the morning drives, soon warmed up but was never unbearably hot. Water low enough to ensure good concentration of game - this has to be the best place in the world for 'up close' leopard viewings, and lots of other game there too, including two good lengthy sightings of wild dogs.
Centre of the park where I started seemed to have more tourists there, but sightings never crowded, and the more northerly sector hardly saw anyone else whilst out on game drives. Would definitely recommend it." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zambia safari
