Malawi between 23 Oct 2010 and 30 Oct 2010
"In addition to having a wonderful time at the various locations it is also worth commenting on the other staff, the drivers we had were fabulous - Sydney was with us for the main and was informative and helpful throughout the long trips between camps - he drove carefully and respectfully and was always attentive to our needs.
We also had one more driver for a short journey who was good, we were met at the airport and escorted through customs and on the way home looked after well also, we even received a call from Wilderness Safaris on our return to the airport to ask if everything was ok.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
Nothing major, we were dealt with at all levels in a professional manner, even when Claire was out of the office we had Ellie to cover who was equally knowledgeable about the trip.
I think the Heuglins Lodge info needs to be updated as the pictures are not representitive of the actual."

"Fantastic is the only way to describe Mumbo.
As with Mvuu the people were great and attentive, Joanna was there all the time to service our needs without being imposing, the food was excellent & the fact that mosquito repelent was given was an added special touch!
Again it delivered everything the website says and really a little bit more. I think the fact that the fact it has no belertzia (sorry spelling!!) should be more advertised as this was raised as a potential concern pre arriving and may indeed put some people off isiting but with the knowledge the island is clear they may be more inclined to visit."

"Heuglins Lodge is a bit 'faded glory', whilst clean enough felt a bit shabby.
The mosquito net in our room had holes in, although we were covered in repellent so did not make an issue of it as no mosquito would come within a mile of us!! Food was nice, if a bit 70's style, eating with the rest of the guests was not ideal for us, particularly as we had a child with us. There was a cat in residence which was not ideal and would be useful information to share in case people were allergic.

Our guide Angel was particularly attentive sharing lots of informtion about the environment within the camp and also about Malawi itself. Accommodation was basic but clean. We had a lovely letter to welcome us when we arrived.
Basically everything the website promised the camp delivered."
