"This was our first expereince of staying in a bushcamp and we were not disappointed!

Our host was very welcoming and the guides extremely knowledgeable. The camp offered a comfortable stay and the food was excellent. A great start to our holiday which we could highly recommend!"

"Mchenja offered a more luxurious stay on safari. Our very comfortable room provided wonderful views of the river together with the resident hippos and their dawn chorus!

All our guided walks and drives were brilliant and the knowledge of the guides was amazing! More jeeps in the vicinity did not always offer that more personal viewing of the animals; however our guides made every effort to avoid being part of any large groups of people that would spoil our experience.

Overall, Mchenja was an excellent experience which we could highly recommend!"

"This was an excellent bushcamp providing very personal service and a wide range of different safari activities. As a result we were able to see the animals from a variety of perspectives - walking, game drives, canoeing and river cruising. Theer was an abundance of wildlife to see, hippos, lions, leopards, antelope, honey badger and a wide range of birds to mention but a few. One of the many highlights was the elephants walking through the camp and crossing the river, providing us with a total close up experience of life in the wild!

Our hosts, Kayla and Jason, were warm and welcoming and along with the guides, very knowledgeable!

The food was excellent and our lovely room offered a quiet retreat to watch the animals from our private verandah.

A wonderful stay all round!"
