Kenya and 1 other country between 13 Oct 2017 and 25 Oct 2017
"Very enjoyable trip combining a safari in two contrasting areas of Kenya (Samburu and Mara Naboisho) with a beach holiday in Zanzibar. it was a particular pleasure that we were not bothered by mosquitoes.
Expert Africa's recommendations and organisation were spot on."

"Accommodation good, beds rather firm. Plunge pool appreciated.
Peaceful with animals very close, including elephant! Lovely outlook over river.
Guided by Anthony, an affable young man with very good English. Lovely sightings of a caracal (cat family) and greater kudu. Would have liked the option of a longer morning safari with a picnic breakfast."

"Excellent standard of accommodation and food.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Sammy, a top class guide and driver.
Day trip to Masai Mara national park an unforgettable experience. Saw ten cheetahs, including the 'five musketeers' and Malaika with two mature cubs making a kill. Bird life prolific.
The cultural visit to a local village turned out to be a visit to a homestead which was interesting in itself but it was not at all clear how the family had benefited or would benefit from the payments.. There needs to be more information and clarification about this activity."

Feedback response
We're delighted this stay at Naboisho Camp was such a success, with outstanding wildlife sightings. We agree that more information should be provided about village visits. Payments do indeed go direct to the homestead, but we are talking to the owners of Naboisho Camp about ensuring driver-guides are fully engaged with the visit and about providing extra information to accompany it.
