Your brochure advises people that rand and US dollars are OK to take. They are not for a participation safari!! We nearly went hungry because we had almost no pula to buy food at one of the local villages.
Our guide in Botswana - Lucky Garenamotse was extremely good. Knowledgable, charming and professional. He also saved our lives one evening when the small stove we were using caught fire.
We were puzzled about necessity of Okavango expeditions. Our safari vehicle and equipment were supplied by Lewis Safari and the guide was freelance. So what did they do ? The Zambezi Sun was a wonderful last night and so welcome after a dusty 10 days in the bush. Perfectly placed for Victoria Falls."
