"We had a great time in general but was a bit surprised at the difference in level between the Kwando camps and Xakanaxa. I would put a 4 star against Xakanaxa and 2/3 for the Kwando camps.
My comments are relevant being in the hotel industry and feel that if the issues are addressed, they can rise to a 4 star."

"Everything at this camp was excellent. The tents were beautiful and clean and the all the facilities were beautiful. The food was excellent, whole team was brilliant and our guide, Baams was brilliant.
Although we had been told that the dinning area was under construction, we actually preferred the alternative which was much more charming."

"We had an amazing time at Kwara and the team there were excellent. Although the menus were the same as at Tau Pan, the quality of the cooking was far superior and so was the bush lunch.
Tusseaud the manager is excellent and professional. Any issue with the rooms or anything else were promptly dealt with.
The concept of the rooms is good but they really need to put some capital into the camp and up-date it to a level like Xakanaxa. Cleanliness is an issue as well.
Our guide, Keone and our trekker, Sherlok were excellent.
I would say that what is missing in the camp are the final touches on service training the camps as sometimes the ladies taking the plates from the table were very abrupt without doing it on purpose as they were very nice. The Kwando lodges do need a better variety of dishes and especially vegetarian ones."

Our guide, Eddie, was excellent and really tried hard for us but the trekker, Scupa, was absolutely useless and never looked nor found anything.
On our day out, again the food, the way it was set out was not to level of other safaris we have done and also not at the same level of as a sister camp, Kwara.
We understand that they have to stick to the regulations of the National park but the difference between Kalahari and Moremi National park is that there are more roads in Moremi that allow you come closer to the animals and see more. They definetely need more roads in the Kalari as the space between pans and roads is far to wide."
