"Loved our trip, was a fantastic start to married life.
Selous Impala Camp and Matemwe Beach Village were both outstanding and really made our trip special."

"The most disappointing part of our trip.
While the room was fine it didn't seem like very good value for money. And there was a really irritating intermittent buzzing sound from just outside the window every 10 seconds which went on 24/7. Despite these negatives, the staff were always very friendly, the place was clean, and the rooftop terrace for breakfast was amazing.
So not an awful experience, just one that, unlike the rest of the places we stayed, didn't live up to expectations."

"An amazing place which was slightly let down by the staff. The location was fantastic, the accomodation comfortable and clean, the pool absolutely stunning, the little touches like the sarongs and beach bags were great and the food good.
However when we were there the service seemed rather chaotic and took away from the overall experience - for example at breakfast, you'd have about 4 different people trying to take your order, things would get forgotten and your toast would always arrive 10 minutes before or after the rest of your breakfast.
Also, I was hugely excited about using the little flag you get given to use on the beach to signal you want drinks, but after 25 minutes waiting I eventually gave up and went to the bar. It's a shame as if they got this sorted it would have been such a fabulous place but the poor service let it down."

"Absolutely adored pretty much everything about this place, which was a very nice surprise as it was probably the one I was least confident about when we booked the trip. But it was fantastic - we loved the ethos of the resort and the fact that the locals harvested seaweed on the beach in front, we loved our room and we loved the food.
We also loved the extra touches such as the meal they set up for us in the shack on the beach, and the bedtime stories left in your room each night. Also the staff were fantastic, both in the hotel and the dive shop."

The only slight issue we had was with the power in our room which kept on breaking down leaving us with a funny beeping noise in the middle of the night! The staff were keen to try and resolve the issue so hopefully it was just a once off."
