Wonderful memories of superb holiday
Tanzania and 1 other country between 9 Jan 2010 and 24 Jan 2010
"Very well put together itinery and we were impressed by the precise puntuality of those meeting us and delivering us at various places.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
We found out latterly that it is possible to go onto BA website just before 24hours before take off and purchase (if there is room) greatly reduced upgrades to Premium Class, which we would have like to have been told."

"What a delightful surprise - to be dropped by baby silver bird into the Serengetti to this wonderful camp.
The tents were luxurious, and enormous. (personal flushing toilet a dream). Staff were very very helpful. Safari guide excellent and of course the camp was positioned right in the middle of the Wilderbeast migration with all attendant animals around (eg lion).
The camp stays on this location for 4 months and then moves back up North to new location."

"Ralph and Elise have created a delightful holiday resort, in the South west of the island. Our lodge had double bed on GF and another on the first floor, giving us the choiceof where to sleep, both with mosquito nets (although mosi's were not a problem provided you sprayed up well. Magic to wake up looking at the Indian Ocean. Excellent PADI dive centre on site (one of the One Ocean Group of dive centres) and Nick who ran it was very professional and took us on some superb dives.
Dining area romantically delightful, with very friendly and helpful staff. Highlight was visit to local village, by guide who worked in the resort and was also a senior in the village, thus opening up to places that would shut to others. Absolutely fascinating.
Lovely pool to laze around or swim in the ocean when the tide was up. Great sight seeing the fishing fleet sail off at dusk in their dhows.
Very sorry to leave."

"We only stayed one night and the island had no electricity and we had to rely on hotel generator when it was switched on. Room was airconditioned, which was essential and pleasant, but bathroom bit basic with cracked loo seat.
Superb restaurant on ground floor, specialising in seafood."

Good
Very interesting tour around the coffee manufacturing process, and a lovely sitting area around log fire near there for "sundowners" before dinnner. Food superb, although dining room a bit plain and wished we could have been together with other guests rather than separated by individual tables.
We both had Masai massages which were very good.
Altogether excellent and wished we could have had another day or so here to enjoy the place more (we were out all day on safari)."
