A delightful experience.
Namibia between 1 Sep 2009 and 18 Sep 2009
Although my friends had done the trip they did not seem to experience the poor road surfaces and as one of the lodge manager's said, Namibia was becoming a victim of their own success with the additional road traffic breaking up the road surfaces."

Olive Grove
"First rate service."

Kulala Wilderness Camp, Namibia (this camp has since closed)
"Fabulous location."
Food excellent and plentiful.
Major problem with the roads leading to this location and I felt that it was imperative that motorists had a 4x4 as standard. Anything else was inadequate due to the amount of punctures being experienced by drivers."

Zebra River Lodge
"Beautiful location."
Again the roads to this location require a 4x4."

Sam's Giardino
"Terrific guest house."
My wife left her reading glasses there and he sent them on to the airport for her to collect! on our journey home!
Pelican Point kayaking excursion
Jeanne was an excellent guide who made the whole experience come alive. She also took numerous photographs throughout the morning which she delivered on a CD to our hotel that night.
Without doubt the highliught of the holiday due mainly to the consideration and professional attitude of Jeanne."

Kayaking with seals
"Brilliant experience"
9 Sep 2009 • Morning excursion
Without doubt the highliught of the holiday due mainly to the consideration and professional attitude of Jeanne.

Doro Nawas
"Enjoyable safari to see the elephants."
The safari to see the elephants was excellent with a nice meal at the end. However we were up at 4.30am for this safari and had the meal at around midday which left us all rather hungry. It would have been better at 11am
Morning excursion in search of desert-adapted elephants
A very early start . A slight haze detracted from obtaining any stunning photographs but all in all a very satisfying and comprehensive morning."

Okaukuejo Camp
"Great waterhole and wild life"
The organised safaris were interesting but somewhat drawn out with breakfast thrown in which seemed a waste of time. We had already had a breakfast and were there too see the animals."

Halali Camp
"A disappointment"
The organised safari was disappointing and was ruined by the roads being regraded due to the poor condition thay were in.
It took two hours to leave Etosha due to the extremely poor condition of the gravel roads, which in effect were corrugated bedrock!"

Ondudu Safari Lodge
"What an amazing location!"
Unfortunately it had taken us 7 hours to get there for an overnight stay but the Sundowner was a great experience."
Good standard of hygiene."
