"If only I could forget the missing luggage!
However this does not distract from the experience as a whole, which was outstanding. We are not weathy people, we have worked hard and spent the money on a unique experience that will give us many happy memories for the rest of our lives.
I would repeat the trip without hesitation. Thanks to all staff at Expert Africa and at Kwando.
Suggestions for improvements:
No. A great company to deal with. First class service.
(Make it cheaper next time please - but I'm bound to say that)."

Kwara Camp

"A lovely liitle camp. This was our first visit to a safari camp and of the three that we visited (Kwara, Lagoon and Lebala), this was our favourite. Although the accomodation was more basic than the other two camps, it was comfortable, clean and completely adequate. The staff were extremely friendly and in fact sitting down and chatting with them we felt we were staying at a friends house rather than being at holiday accomodation.
The range of activities was excellent, game drives, boat trips, walking, we did them all and this added to the experience.
Wildlife score: * * * * *"

Lagoon Camp

"Seeing the wild dogs with puppies here was the highlight. The number of elephants meant that they were soon classed at "common sightings". The staff were friendly and sitting around the camp fire (a feature shared at all three camps (Kwara, Lagoon and Lebala) - called the "bush TV"
was always a great way to start and finish the day. Sitting chatting to staff and fellow guests about life the universe and everything and in particular the wildlife was a memorable experience.

Lebala Camp

"Of the three camps that we visited, (Kwara, Lagoon and Lebala), the tracker and guide that were with us "OC and PD" were the best. Their knowledge and bushcraft were like a form of magic. We would tell them what we were looking for and they would try their upmost to find it. If the animals were not in the area, they could always find an excellent alternative.
Unfortunately at the time of our visit there were only two other guests present, and also there was a change of management staff taking place.
Somehow this made the camp seem more corporate and formal than the other camps when we were on site. We thought the accomodation was luxurious, but somehow excessive for our requirements - this is a personal choice. (Not true of the showers which were most welcome after the gamedrives).
One of the outgoing managers (Phoebe?) lectured the guests one evening - intimating that we should take more interest in the culture of Botswana and not just the animals. This was politely tolerated. However at the other two camps there was a very informal exchange of information between the staff and guests and many cultural topics and this is a much better format of exchange than any artificial cultural show.
One of the incoming managers, Charles was first class and is a great people person who always had great stories and was a "fountain of knowledge". We wish him well.

The food at breakfast was first class. We would have no hesitation in returning. I would have given an excellent rating if the choice of evening meals had been better - also we chose to sit outside to eat, but this resulted in poor lighting by which to eat our meal. I also found the choice of wines to be rather expensive."
