My Oct 2024 trip
Kenya between 22 Oct 2024 and 30 Oct 2024
This was our first experience of actually booking a safari with EA and we were happy with the responsiveness, helpful attitude and logistics, but expected a more personalised and expert/first hand experience of the person we talked with.
We hoped for a special, guide-like quality of advice and received a typical safari agent service - good, but not any better than other."
Feedback response
We are pleased to hear that they rated their safari experience as excellent overall. However, we regret that they were occasionally disappointed by a lack of detailed information provided. These travelers contacted us in September to arrange travel for October, which posed challenges due to budget constraints and limited availability in popular safari areas. Little Governor's Camp was specifically requested by the travelers, while the others were recommended by us based on their high standards and excellent wildlife experiences. However we are sorry that these travellers felt disappointed by some camps and for any negative impact this may have had on their overall experience.

We were surprised how great wildlife at Naboisho Conservancy was (lions, lions, lions!) - and they restrict access, so much less cars than in Maasai Mara!"
Little Governors' Camp
A resident impala can also "disturb" you at breakfast, competing for the best pancake from the chef. The team at the camp are most charming, friendly and obliging people. It's one of the most beautifully located camps we've stayed at during our 20+ years of African trips, BUT... it feels a bit unkept/neglected: common area with worn-out sofas, no books or coffee table books about nature or Samburu or whatever...
No bush breakfasts nor sundowners (typical at other good camps in Kenya and a great experience, here not a standard - to be arranged and payed on request), no campfire in the evening. It's such a beautiful place, but it does not allow you to have this wonderful African camp experience...
If only this camp uses its full potential, it will be a true gem."
