My Oct 2024 trip
Zambia between 20 Oct 2024 and 28 Oct 2024
"Two out of three lodges were amazing but because of this the third lodge was disappointing.
The wildlife was amazing but three days in the final lodge was the wrong call by Expert Africa. And seeing wild dogs was amazing although we had to insist on being taken to where they were, this should have been obvious to the guide."

"Another fantastic setting, wonderful adventures accommodation.
A really welcoming, vibrant, energetic feel to the camp. We were especially impressed with the staff here, the guides were incredibly knowledgeable and Max the host did an incredible job.
We were really made to feel cared for and at home."

"Compared to the other two lodges this was a much quieter place, felt isolated and certainly not the same vibrant, welcoming and engaging atmosphere that we felt at the other two camps.
Lacked a spirit of generosity and warmth certainly not as relaxing and homely. The host here was certainly not as welcoming. The game drives weren’t as interesting, there were far fewer animals, the guides not as friendly or as enthusiastic and it was a pity we stayed here the longest. Knowing that we were desperate to see wild dogs it was a pity that we had to plead with a guide to drive us out to view them once they had luckily been spotted.
Certainly not a place we would particularly recommend. Couldn’t move around the rooms easily when the mosquitoe nets were down, rooms were too small, we were changing in the bathroom!! and staff definitely not as friendly.
Certainly not value for money and certainly not a place wanted to stay at for three days. Would not recommend."

Feedback response
We are sorry to hear these travellers were disappointed with their stay at Nsefu - we have been in touch with them, and also reached out to the team at Nsefu for feedback, and will be in touch with the travellers with a response in due course.
Sightings report
Tisi our host, went to great lengths to make us feel welcome including a special meal on the first night to celebrate my retirement. Including personal notes from the lodge team and complimentary sparkling wine. An extremely thoughtful touch and much appreciated.
A generous and friendly camp vibe with the host leading by example."
