"Great place to stay at start and end of trip . Really well run hotel , room excellent and staff top notch .

Breakfast and dining in Quills restaurant very good .

As BA flight is late we popped out to Sandton City Mall on last day for shopping !."

"Great for 2 nights . Air conditioned lodges right on the Zambezi .

Did the Victoria Falls early morning walk and then followed by breakfast overlooking the bridge . Great start to trip .

Water transfer on the Zambezi to the lodge . Very high standard and delighted we stayed there .
Good suggestion to stay there instead of a hotel of in Victoria Falls .

Just a reminder that the entrance fee to the Falls is $50 a head ."

"We enjoyed great safari drives here . 4 nights probably to long and would recommend 3 . Staff were great and Tony the guide was excellent .

Tents were probably a bit below expectations just a bit tired . Looking at other mobile options it lacked an area in the camp and the tent to relax during the gap from returning from the morning drive and the start of the 1630 evening drive .

Also , and this is my fault , for some reason . I thought it moved during the stay but the camp is fixed during the stay and thus I can't see the advantage of staying in a fixed base camp .

Perhaps it is cheaper but Sue happy with the option but I'd have stayed at a fixed camp !"

"Nice place to finish . Due to water levels being low but access by 4x4 not available we were helicoptered in on a 4 minute transfer which was a bonus . Lodges spacious with nice verandas , separate shower and loo areas .

However the wildlife was more of a struggle as only 2 lions and 2 lionesses on the area . Large water buffalo herd , wild dogs and hyenas seen here . Some elephants but nothing like Savute and expectations were for good elephant viewing . Sue was keen to see elephants so upon reflection given the time of year perhaps we should have stayed at a camp nearer water .

However we had an amazing encounter with 2 leopards who had been fighting and were up 2 trees and lying between the 2 trees were 2 lions fast asleep .

One jumped to another tree and then came down and walked past us and all in lovely sunshine and just fantastic to see these wonderful animals close up ."

Great to refresh here after the camps and pop out for shopping . Well worth paying for the stay instead of just connecting straight to the flight home . It is so conveniently placed and is one of the best airport hotels we've stayed in ."
