"I honestly never use travel agents as I am in the travel industry myself and love to plan things on my own but I am converted.
Expert Africa made this sooooooo easy. We never felt like we were on the back foot.
Drivers were at the airport to pick us up on time, same with the lodges.

"Paradise!!!!! Will return again. Wow..just wow..
About a 75-90 minute drive from the Zanzibar airport which is manageable but once we arrived I didnt want to leave. Our bungalow (#9) was spectacular. I am at a loss for words at how wonderful it was.
All meals were exceptional and one thing I appreciated was that "all inclusive" meant " all inclusive" ..no add ons for our floating breakfast or cooking class at lunchtime or dinner on the beach.
One thing to note. If you want a beach that you can immediately walk out and swim from the resort, this might not be your best option. Yes it is ocean front but at low tide there is absolutely no water and you need to walk about 10 minutes to the 'public" beach. I personally loved this aspect as it reminded me of Cornwall in the UK with all the boats askew during low tide.
All the staff were top notch and made us feel welcome. Our personal staff member Julian was great at recommending food options for us ."
