"3 nights. Highly recommend. Excellent guide (Perry) very knowledgeable and excellent wildlife sightings.
Food good, big spacious room, and outstanding service from Sorrel, the camp host. Always so pleasant and extremely efficient. He went to great trouble to try to retrieve our lost luggage, and organised a tailor to shorten trousers which were part of emergency shopping, for which he declined payment!
Sightings included hippos, elephants, zebras, leopards, warthogs, lions, crocodiles, kudos, impalas, warthogs, zebras, buffaloes, water bucks, pukus, numerous birds, including rollers, carmine bee eaters, kingfishers, vultures, eagles, hornbills….
Excellent camp, would definitely consider a return visit."

Tena Tena
"Tena Tena review"
4 nights

"4 nights. Excellent wildlife and excellent guides, Nyambe and John. Food very good.
Accommodation disappointing. Room small and cramped and only two shelves for storage. Plug sockets behind the bed were so loose we had to hold the sole plate in place when removing a plug as the fitment was coming away from the wall. The bathroom was accessed by zip up tent fastening from the bedroom, and it was invaded by flies and insects whenever lights were on. Darkness is almost 6pm to 6 am. The bathroom was so open to the elements fly spray was ineffective. Swarms of bees surrounded the light adjacent to the toilet. Bertram was apologetic and arranged spraying of a nest (?), this helped for a day but then the bees returned.
The shower did not work properly. The hot water cut in and out at random, there was no consistency of temperature, and at times it was dangerously hot. Other guests had the same problem. There was no storage in the bathroom at all, so to safeguard toiletries from the baboons, these had to be carried to and from the bedroom every time. As this involved zipping and unzipping the door, which had to be kept closed because of the flies, it was highly inconvenient.
Overall great wildlife sightings, excellent guides and good food were seriously let down by the standard of the accommodation, and for that reason we would not recommend Tena Tena.
Addendum: Robin Pope have responded positively to our feedback and with dealing with the issues. They are to be commended for their response and we are impressed with their attitude. We would recommend Robin Pope. Also, praise for Expert Africa for taking comments seriously."

Anabezi Luxury Tented Camp
"Anabezi Luxury Tented Camp review"
4 nights

"4 nights. Highly recommend Anabezi. Everything deserves an excellent rating.
The wildlife sightings were superb, our guide Levi was very experienced, the accommodation was luxurious, the food was good and service most attentive.
We had three separate sighting of the wild dogs with their pups, we saw leopards every day, (4 on the last day) numerous lions, and huge numbers of elephants and buffaloes. We saw wild dogs and leopards hunting prey, one leopard catching and devouring a squirrel in front of us, a lion dragging away a warthog the leopard had killed earlier, and beautiful birds too numerous to mention.
Overall, Anabezi is a high standard lodge which offers outstanding wildlife sightings. We would definitely recommend it, and consider returning.
Be aware that the plane from Lusaka to Kulefu airstrip is very small. Total of four seats, and one of those is for the pilot!"

Staff very helpful about organising taxi to take us to a shopping mall so we could buy emergency clothes as BA had lost one of our cases."
