Namibia between 5 Sep 2022 and 17 Sep 2022
"We were drawn to this firm after reading the Namibia Travel book by Chris and felt they were the right agency. During our previous Safaris we had used two other high end agencies and tough satisfied felt the trip to Namibia with Expert Africa would be a better option.
Megan was extremely helpful right form the start and I did enact with Chris on several occasions as he was the expert and found this advice e valuable.
We did have a slight hitch but this was promptly resolved.
I will certainly book again with Expert Africa .
One word of caution for those taking a connecting flight via Frankfurt. DO NOT take the short connection time as sold by Lufthansa as you will to get any help at the airport . We along with twelve other passengers from various airports in UK just managed to catch the flight to Windhoek minus our luggage.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
The trip to Tywfelfontein from the Damarland is worthwhile and it takes only half an hour each way. You are allowed only 45 mins at the site. This information needs to be widely circulated"

Completely different than the Kenyan one. Lucky to have Dennis as our pilot so we were the first one to take off. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and the desert breakfast
The only thing that was off-putting was a professional photographer who was taking pictures of two models and was ordering people to move so he could get the best views.
Thankfully someone put a stop to this.
I would certainly recommend this trip.

"As we were the only guests at this resort the care was unparalleled to anything we had received anywhere. Surprise dinners under the stars, long chats with staff and sharing experiences .
Manager/ Chef (who shared recipes ) staff were fantastic. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and helpful.
We had forgotten our water flask and had taken off on short flight to pick up another passenger from a neighbouring camp . We were surprised beyond belief when the guide drove up to that airstrip to hand us the water bottle. He deserves a medal."

"This is tired looking lodge and would avoid it .
I understand that Expert Africa has been assured by the new management that they are going to overhaul this camp.

"Excellent staff and location . Our stay during the outbound trip was exceptionally good . However we had to move to different hotel as the air conditioning was not working in three of the rooms we were shown.
The temp was 40 degrees outside .

Unfortunately on our return we had to shift to alternative accommodation as the AC was not working in 3 of the rooms that we were offered . All the staff and manager agreed that it was not working yet the owner who chanced to be there insisted it was and that no there guests had complained.
The machines were old and inadequate for a room of that size ( a 5Ton AC is absolutely insufficient ). Contrary to her version that the machines were new. The staff were gobsmacked when she said that and confided in us that her version was untrue."
