"Your services are terrific, knowledgeable, helpful, prompt and informative.
Richard was always attentive to our needs, and is a pleasure to work with.
We would certainly call him again in the future.
In summary, our experience on our Africa safari was an "11" out of "10"! Absolutely amazing!! Trip of a lifetime!"

Nairobi full day excursion
"Nairobi full day excursion review"
21 Jul 2022 • All-day excursion
Took a 3+ hour excursion through Nairobi National Park, then a short tour & shopping at a local artisan stop-off. Both were good & fun.
Ate dinner at Talisman -- beautiful ambiance, food & decor.
Met a friend from Nairobi, who also echoed that Talisman is one of his Nairobi favorites for dining!

"ALL Excellent! -- people, accommodations, food & drink, game drives. Graciousness, kindness, attentiveness, and lots & lots of information about everything new to us in Africa!
I feel that we had the widest, deepest interaction with staff at this camp -- and ALL were wonderful. This includes Agnes (in-charge), Daniel & Charles (our guide & spotter), Paul, Francis, Moses (our nighttime escort) and several others whose names escape me now.
Game drives were outstanding. What surprised us, though, was that in addition to seeing and learning about all of the beautiful animals, we learned SO much about the area, the people/community, the interaction of all aspects of the natural surroundings, the eco-system, culture, and the coordinated efforts of several "stakeholders" in preserving & enhancing the community conservancies system there."

"I am re-repeating myself here, but again EVERYTHING @ Solio was wonderful!
Peter & John (our guide/driver & spotter) were each great, knowledgeable and fun to spend the days with. Ava was warm, informative & caring.
Meals were very good -- even met another couple casually and had a nice dinner with them, learning about them and their backgrounds as well as exchanging stories about our respective game drive experiences. Meals were terrific.
Room accommodations were lovely -- certainly the most lavish lodge room of our stay."

Sala's Camp
"Sala's Camp review"

"All the same accolades apply to Sala's Camp as were our experience at both Sasaab & Solio!
Game drives were amazingly outstanding! We were fortunate enough to experience the "Great Migration" in ALL of its glory! Wildebeest, zebras, gazelle, eland and others EVERYWHERE! Many, many lion encounters, including a 7 lion twilight attempt to take down a young zebra for dinner (they were outsmarted by the zebra herd, and the young one living for another day).
Also saw/experienced a "crossing" at the Mara River which was just like the ones displayed on National Geographic programs! Unimaginable, indescribable, dramatic, extraordinary -- in every way! A very, very special event to witness in person.
Again -- ALL personnel/staff were wonderful: Sampson ("Sam" - our guide/driver), Masek (our spotter), Nolene & Tony (our hosts), Harry (our Maasai escort for night walks/travels to & from dinner) and many others.
Our tent (#6) was wonderful, spacious and soothing. The "Common" areas (for dinners, other meals, & guest gathering) were our favorite of the 3 camps (particularly including the 44 ft. mesquite dining table used for all-guest-dinners). The gift shop had wonderful local choices (of which we purchased several), and the attendant there (a wonderful young woman whose name I can't recall) was sweet, helpful, kind-hearted and attentive & helpful.
Just like Sasaab and Solio, would absolutely stay here again!"

Sightings report
Our meals (breakfast & dinner) were delicious. Room accommodations (Room # 6 and a day room on our return) were both very nice. Lovely, welcoming property. We really felt "taken care of" there, particularly after having traveled so long to get there (all the way from the U.S.), and then again after our 8 nights away on safari. Very, very relaxing. We would absolutely stay there again.
One particular event deserves special note: We arranged (from our final camp stay at Sala's Camp) to have a last night's dinner @ Macushla House with friends from Nairobi the night of our departure flight. Peter & Millicent were particularly accommodating to us and our guests. They even helped me make phone contact with our guests (when they were a bit late in arriving), and then physically aided/helped the woman of the couple (who was a bit ambulatory challenged because of age).
Their warmth & kindness was SO genuine! They each deserve very high praise; they are wonderful people! (And, of course, the food & wine that evening were excellent.)"
