Sadly these guests noticed money missing from their room safe during their stay at Mombo Camp. Although their safe was not locked, the matter of stealing is always taken very seriously. Mombo Camp followed up on the matter with their staff immediately and investigated the situation thoroughly. No guilty party was found. However, the camp has implemented additional systems to make sure all guests’ valuables are stored safely.
Mombo Camp has extended their sincere apologies to the guests for this incident. As a measure of good faith, and so that their memories of Mombo were not marred in any way, the camp refunded the amount lost. This is not admittance of fault in any way, but rather a gesture of good faith.

"Just us at this beautiful new camp. Tess and Stuart and their team made us very welcome and gave us a wonderful time.
Our guide Dukes was great and found us loads of wildlife in the sparse season and was extremely informative. Food by Lindi and team was excellent."

"We were probably spoilt by previous camps. Our transfer across the border was poor. We got off the boat and the agents were asleep in the van which resulted in us getting aggressively hassled by guys begging and selling things.
Tongabezi felt a little shabby round the edges. the activities manager seemed rather disinterested and we only had one time choice to visit Livingston Island. Chris and i were in the new room the nut house and the big positive was that the private pool was fantastic.
Some of the staff were extremely friendly, others not so. They did make a big effort with a private dinner and cake and song to celebrate Teresa's birthday. Trip to Livingston Island fantastic and guides wonderful which made the trip there worthwhile."
