Zambian trip of a lifetime.
Zambia between 20 Aug 2008 and 31 Aug 2008
"Amazing trip, amazing service and easy planning with Anna of Expert Africa.
Have found the Zambian experience to meet and exceed every expectation. As our first trip to Africa we found the Zambian people a refreshing change, who seem to never stop smiling and great pride in such a magical country. Safri with Norman Carr Safaris was a trip we will never forget.
The Norman Carr 'magic button' seems to always bring out the best wildlife, the best behaviour and the best safari experience. We found it quite emotional to be leaving a place that felt more home than England. Next time we will try losing our passports to at least stay that bit longer.
A wonderful trip only exceeded by the fact we are now engaged to be wed!
Suggestions for improvement:
Help us to stay longer next time!"

Luwi Bushcamp
"First bush camp - Luwi"
4 nights
Arrived
22 Aug 2008
"After seeing all the animals from the safari drives based from Kapani it was awesome to be able to see the animals and country from a different perspective on foot. Thoroughly enjoyed the walking safaris and the knowledge of our guide (Sam) under the watchful eye of our scout (John).
The second nights escapades are a great example of the amazing sitings we had, following sun downers and hitting the showers we suddenly got a call of the wild from the local Lion pride. Not everyone can say there first lion siting was with shampoo in their hair.
Fantastic food and service, Rosie one of our hosts only helped to make our stay more comfortable. Thankyou to all at Luwi."

Mchenja Bushcamp
"Back to the River for Mchenja Camp"
1 night
Arrived
26 Aug 2008
"Amazing can be the only word for the changes in environment witnessed throughout the initial three camps. Located on the banks of the river in a small Ebony grove are the beautiful lodges of Mchenja. Our ever extending list of wildlife only got fuller at this camp. Leopard walking through camp was one of the highlights.
A knowledgeable safari guide (Innocent) made our stay here all the more enjoyable. Each days expectations got bigger due to each being met and exceeded.
The food and service as per usual was spectacular, we couldn't ask for more, other than when is the Norman Carr cookbook being released?"

Kakuli Bushcamp
"Our final bushcamp - Kakuli"
2 nights
Arrived

"Thankyou to all at Kakuli for making it so difficult for us to leave. Another amazing setting a few km down the river from Mchenja, but yet again a sudden change in the environment but the usual spectacular game viewing.
Watching elephant from your breakfast table has to be seen to be believed.
Food, service and guiding a cut above!"

Avani Victoria Falls
"Back to civilization - Zambezi sun"
2 nights
Arrived

"A huge change from being on safari, but a great location right on the falls.
Recommend the White water rafting, not for the faint hearted as we went swimming four times.
Food and service good, but for that really special dining experience a visit next door to the Royal Livingstone hotel is a must."
