Lake Manze Adventure Camp
"Lake Manze Tented Camp review"
Kwihala Camp
"Kwihala Camp review"
The highlight had to be Wild Dog we saw a large pack so many it was impossible to count them, they were hunting, one of then caught a Wart Hog piglet, caused alot of excitment hardly a meal for the dog that caught it,one evening a pride of lions were on the move as we were on our way back to camp,it was dark, they were in front behind and to the side of the vehicle they carried on walking for quite a while before turning of into the bush, we also saw Leopard, also the Bat Ear Foxes and lots of Elephant.
The animals seemed more relaxed even the Impalas seem to take time to leave the track as the vehicle approached them. Our tents where clean and comfortable every one was friendly.Early morning tea and coffee was bought to our tent by 6am we we off for 10hrs+ game drives during the day.
This was a first safari for my daughter a 5th for myself,we both enjoyed Kwihala so much thanks to Steve he made so interesting and enjoyable."

Impala Camp
"Selous Impala Camp Review"
We were met at the air strip and taken on a game drive. Our guide Charles and driver Dunstan stayed with us for the the four days,
The first evening we went on a boat safari with a lovely honeymoon couple. On the way back to camp we were taken from the river onto the bank, there waiting for us was a table a chairs over looking the river.we sat drinking chilled wine, with compliments from the management.
On the second morning we had breakfast by a beautiful lake, watching the hippos and crocs. We also had an evening meal in the bush near to the camp. The evening of our anniversary we had champagne whilst on a game drive, once again with compliments from the management. We also had a cake after our dinner. The game viewing was very good.We saw a pack of ten wild dogs well fed and in lovely condition. Also lions with two young cubs.
We saw most of the animals that one would hope to see on safari as well as some not seen on previous safaris. We felt that Selous National Park was a beautiful place. Thank you to everyone at Impala for a wonderful time."
Pongwe Beach Hotel
"Pongwe Beach Hotel review"
Nothing to do but to relax and enjoy doing nothing.
We had Champagne in our room when we arrived, with compliments from the management. My husband had a birthday whilst we were here,so we had a candle lit dinner on the beach. We had a fish platter absolutely delicious. The staff came dancing and singing happy birthday on to the beach with a birthday cake. Everyone were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble.
We enjoyed our stay here."

"Little Kwara review"
Our guide Vasco and tracker Hobbs were brilliant. We saw all 3 of the large cats, a first for cheetah, which was great.
We enjoyed a mokoro trip, followed by a most enjoyable walk.
We were sad to leave this lovely little camp."

Lebala Camp
"Lebala Camp review"
Our guide Spencer and tracker PD were great, we had the most enjoyable game drives. We saw lion, herds of elephant and buffalo.
It was bitter cold early mornings, we were glad we took plenty of clothing layers.
The tents were very nice, but it took courage to get out of bed in the mornings. The white silk type curtains do nothing to stop draughts."
Lagoon Camp
"Lagoon Camp review"
Lagoon is a camp in a beautiful riverside position. Once again we were made to feel very welcome.
The tents are old and worn out, but they were clean and comfortable. The hot water was instant and reliable.
We saw wild dog, tracked and found 3 lions off road. Also 3 beautiful cheetah bothers. Again we saw large herds of elephants
and buffalo. We very much enjoyed our stay here."
Lake Manze is very good value camp, the food was the best I have ever had at a safari camp. The tent was clean and comfortable although I was not so keen on the outside toilet when it was pouring with rain during the night, we were glad to have a fan, it enabled us to sleep well. Our tent no5 over looked the lake we were able to sit and watch animals and birds which was great.
A enjoyable 4 days."
